San Francisco District Attorney Boudin Announces Multiple Charges Against Leader Of Anti-Choice Group For Stalking A Doctor Who Provided Abortions
Today, San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin announced that the District Attorney’s Office has filed multiple charges against an anti-choice activist, Aaron Jonathan Hurley, who was part of a group of people who invaded a health care clinic and stalked a doctor who provides health care, including abortions, to women. District Attorney Boudin has charged Mr. Hurley, a resident of Los Angeles, with felony stalking (Penal Code section 646.9(a)); misdemeanor obstructing freedom of access to a clinic (Penal Code Section 423.2(c)); two misdemeanor vandalism charges (Penal Code Section 594(b)(2)(a)); misdemeanor trespassing with intent to interfere (Penal Code Section 602(k)); and misdemeanor interfering with a business (Penal Code Section 602.1(a)). Another suspect, Kristen Turner, was cited and released. An arrest warrant is pending for Lauren Brice Handy, another suspect involved in these activities. The investigation is ongoing.
