District Attorney George Gascón Launches Ad Campaign for Domestic Violence Awareness Month

DV 2014 ad DA George Gascón, together with domestic violence advocates, community partners, and members of the DA's Domestic Violence Unit and Victim Services Unit unveiled an Ad campaign for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The theme of the campaign, "Love Shouldn't Hurt," promotes support services for domestic violence survivors provided by the District Attorney's Office.

Faber, a 2-year-old Golden Retriever, is an expertly trained facility dog who specializes in assisting vulnerable witnesses cope with the stress and trauma that can accompany victimization.

San Francisco District Attorney's Office Selected as a High Performance Prosecution Mentor Site

Association of Prosecuting AttorneysThe SFDA's office has been selected by the Association of Prosecuting Attorneys as a HPP Mentor Site. 
In an effort to help spread the high performance prosecutor framework, the mentor sites will provide real-life examples for prosecutors nationwide who are interested in how to implement one or more of the four key components. The mentor sites will model how prosecutors can develop new skills, utilize new tools, and embrace new strategies.
